Dr. Salim Chowdhury graduated from the New York College of Podiatric Medicine in 2000. He went on to do his surgical residency at St. Barnabas Hospital and at United Hospital. A native of the New York Metro area, Dr. Chowdhury wanted to establish a practice that would fit in with his interests in family podiatric medicine and sports medicine.

Dr. Chowdhury is an Associate of the Academy of Ambulatory Foot and Ankle Surgeons. He is also a member of the American Podiatric Association (APMA) and has been distinguished in the professional chapter of Cambridge Who's Who. He is also a member of the professional section of the American Diabetes Association.
